This 2-day session introduces you to a range of hand building tools and
equipment, which you can then use to make your own ceramic objects.
Introduction to craft of pottery covering topics like
The first part of the day serves as an introduction to the machine Shop
workshop, providing guidance on the safe use of workshop machinery,
such as the pottery wheel, bandwheel, slab roller, kiln and various hand
tools.
Following a talk on different types of clay, clay preparation, storage and
reclaiming and safety procedure.
With support and guidance from the tutor, you’ll then use our workshop
equipment to make your object – providing you with a beautiful,
personalised project to take home with you!
NOTE:
– Please wear suitable & comfortable clothes .
